| Built in East Boothbay, ME, BOWDOIN made nearly 30 voyages to the ice-jammed waters of the Arctic, under the command of Admiral Donald MacMillan. Still sailing, at the Maine Maritime Academy, this sturdy schooner is a registered National Historic Landmark. A skilled modeler will take great delight in building this plank on bulkhead kit. Each of the two deck dories is a miniature kit by itself. |
